Our caravan holiday park is in Bacton, a small seaside village on the North Norfolk Coast between Cromer and Great Yarmouth with the beautiful cathedral city of Norwich, the Norfolk broads and numerous other attractions, within easy driving distance. Our site provides a lovely, peaceful base from which to explore the attractions of Norfolk and the North Norfolk Coast.
Bacton has two cafés, a gift shop, fish and chip shop, the Bacton Superstore, The Duke Public House (re-opening at Easter), the Sea Star Chinese restaurant/takeaway, and a children's park and playing field, all within a few minutes walk of our caravan site. The Poacher's Pocket pub and restaurant and the Keswick Hotel and restaurant (including Sunday carvery), are less than a mile away along the sea front and about three miles in the other direction you'll find the mini-resort of Mundesley with its amusement arcade, cafés, pubs, working men's club, skateboard park and Adventure Island Crazy Golf Course. Boat hire and tours are available on the Norfolk broads only six miles away (see below for links to further details).
There are also many attractions within a short drive of the site. There is the hustle and bustle of the resort town of Great Yarmouth, the smaller resort of Cromer, famous for its tasty crabs and traditional pier complete with theatre, and the historic city of Norwich with its two cathedrals, castle and lots of great shopping. Other Norfolk attractions include theme parks, the Norfolk broads for walks and boat hire, sea boat trips for seal viewing or sea fishing, Sea Life Centres, National Trust properties, bird watching, zoos, museums, steam railways and fun fairs.
The following links lead to more information about each attraction and links to relevant web sites where possible. All are within about an hours drive at most from our caravan site.
